the room was spacious (i stayed in a beautiful double room). it had a lovely view of the lake. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.
my favorite drink was not available at the bar. i waited a long time for tea and coffee during breakfast. paying extra for milk in the room felt excessive after paying for three rooms.

the room was spacious. it included two chairs and a small table. the bathroom had both a shower and a separate bath (i liked this). the breakfast offered many choices.
the bar was quite busy both nights. finding a seat proved difficult (i waited a while). the live music was a bit too loud. the service was slow at times.

The markup on a bottle of champagne seemed excessive at 55 euros. The four-course meal did not meet expectations. The sparkling water I requested never arrived.

comfortable bedgreat bathroomdetailed walkdinner menu
the suite was well-appointed. it had a great bathroom and a super comfortable bed. i completed a 18 km walk around the lake (the hotel brochure stated 14km, a minor difference).
the bar dinner menu was a little disappointing for me. i feel it could use more variety. it didn't quite match the high standards set by the rest of my stay.

the breakfast had an amazing array of choices. i could choose from many different options (especially tasty were the fresh pastries). the view from the breakfast room enhanced the experience, and the staff provided excellent service.
